A House concurrent resolution
relating to Minnesota's peacetime emergency; terminating the peacetime emergency
pursuant to the authority granted under Minnesota Statutes, section 12.31, subdivision
2, paragraph (b).

WHEREAS, Governor Walz signed Executive Order 20-01, a declaration of a peacetime
emergency on March 13, 2020; and

WHEREAS, the Executive Council of the State extended that peacetime emergency for up
to 30 days on March 16, 2020; and

WHEREAS, on April 13, 2020, by Executive Order 20-35, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01; and

WHEREAS, on May 13, 2020, by Executive Order 20-53, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Order 20-35; and

WHEREAS, on June 12, 2020, by Executive Order 20-75, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35 and 20-53; and

WHEREAS, on July 13, 2020, by Executive Order 20-78, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, and 20-75; and

WHEREAS, on August 12, 2020, by Executive Order 20-83, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, and 20-78; and

WHEREAS, on September, 11, 2020, by Executive Order 20-89, Governor Walz extended
the peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, and 20-83; and

WHEREAS, on October, 12, 2020, by Executive Order 20-92, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, and 20-89; and

WHEREAS, on November 12, 2020, by Executive Order 20-97, Governor Walz extended
the peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, and 20-92; and

WHEREAS, on December 14, 2020, by Executive Order 20-100, Governor Walz extended
the peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, 20-92, and 20-97; and

WHEREAS, on January 13, 2021, by Executive Order 21-04, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, 20-92, 20-97, and 20-100; and

WHEREAS, on February 12, 2021, by Executive Order 21-08, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, 20-92, 20-97, 20-100, and 21-04; and

WHEREAS, on March 15, 2021, by Executive Order 21-12, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, 20-92, 20-97, 20-100, 21-04, and 21-08; and

WHEREAS, on April 14, 2021, by Executive Order 21-19, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, 20-92, 20-97, 20-100, 21-04, 21-08, and 21-12;
and

WHEREAS, on May 14, 2021, by Executive Order 21-22, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, 20-92, 20-97, 20-100, 21-04, 21-08, 21-12, and
21-19; and

WHEREAS, on or before June 14, 2021, by Executive Order, Governor Walz extended the
peacetime public emergency declared under Executive Order 20-01 and extended in Executive
Orders 20-35, 20-53, 20-75, 20-78, 20-83, 20-89, 20-92, 20-97, 20-100, 21-04, 21-08, 21-12, 21-19,
and 21-22; NOW, THEREFORE

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the State of Minnesota, the Senate
concurring, that the legislature exercises its authority under Minnesota Statutes, section 12.31,
subdivision 2, paragraph (b), terminating the peacetime emergency declared under Executive Order
20-01.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives is
directed to prepare an enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by his signature and
those of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Chair of the Senate Rules and
Administration Committee, and the Secretary of the Senate, and transmit it to the Governor of the
State of Minnesota.
