A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for scenic and natural area
maintenance.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin SCIENTIFIC AND NATURAL AREA MAINTENANCE;
APPROPRIATION.

$3,300,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for improved maintenance at scientific and natural areas under Minnesota
Statutes, section 86A.05, subdivision 5, including additional natural resource specialists
and technicians, coordinators, seasonal crews, equipment, supplies, and administrative
support.
