A bill for an act
relating to housing; appropriating money to Model Cities to promote housing
security for communities of color.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2023 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2024 are appropriated from the
general fund to the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for a grant to Model Cities of St.
Paul, Inc., an organization that sustains housing security for communities of color by
providing access to opportunities that stabilize and develop families and communities. This
is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2024.
