A bill for an act
 relating to environment; appropriating money for water quality standards for
perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances; authorizing rulemaking.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin WATER QUALITY STANDARDS FOR PERFLUOROALKYL AND
POLYFLUOROALKYL SUBSTANCES; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $....... in fiscal year 2021 is appropriated from the clean water fund to the commissioner
of the Pollution Control Agency to adopt rules establishing water quality standards for
perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS). This is a onetime
appropriation and is available until June 30, 2023.
