A bill for an act
 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for a regional arts
center.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; MIDWEST ART CONSERVATION CENTER.

new text begin $100,000 in fiscal year 2016 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to the Minnesota State Arts Board for a grant to the Midwest Art Conservation Center, a
nonprofit regional arts center, for the preservation and conservation of art and artifacts.
The grant is to support providing treatment, education, and training for museums, historical
societies, libraries, and other cultural institutions, as well as public and private clients.
