relating to appropriations; appropriating money for a program to reduce
childhood obesity.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION FOR A PROGRAM TO REDUCE CHILDHOOD
OBESITY.

$65,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2014 from the general fund to the Minnesota
Amateur Sports Commission to develop a pilot program to prevent and reduce childhood
obesity. This appropriation is available until expended.
