A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for family assets for
independence grants.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; FAMILY ASSETS FOR INDEPENDENCE.

$1,000,000 in the biennium beginning July 1, 2011, is appropriated from the general
fund to the commissioner of human services for the family assets for independence grants
under Minnesota Statutes, section 256E.35. Any fund balance at the end of the first year
does not cancel and is available in the second year.
