A bill for an act
 relating to higher education; implementing the enterprise information technology
investment strategic plan.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $70,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of Trustees of the
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2009,
for implementation of the enterprise information technology investment strategic plan.
Funds must be used for investments including replacement, maintenance, support, and
improvement of the technology used to deliver and manage education for students.
