  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; appropriating money for an 
  1.3             alternatives analysis for the North Star corridor. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; ALTERNATIVES ANALYSIS FOR NORTH 
  1.6   STAR CORRIDOR.] 
  1.7      $100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of transportation for fiscal year 2001 for a grant 
  1.9   to the North Star Corridor Joint Powers Authority to match 
  1.10  federal funding for an alternatives analysis for that segment of 
  1.11  the North Star corridor from the city of Rice to Camp Ripley.
