  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education funding; clarifying the date 
  1.3             necessary to calculate the reorganization operating 
  1.4             debt levy for independent school district No. 2687, 
  1.5             Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [JUNE 30, 1995.] 
  1.8      Notwithstanding Laws 1994, chapter 647, article 6, section 
  1.9   38, or any other law to the contrary, the unreserved operating 
  1.10  fund balance used to compute the reorganization operating debt 
  1.11  levy authority for independent school district No. 2687, Howard 
  1.12  Lake-Waverly-Winsted, is June 30, 1995. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
