  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to capital improvements; appropriating money 
  1.3             for the restoration of the Milwaukee Road Depot in 
  1.4             Montevideo; authorizing the sale of state bonds. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [MILWAUKEE ROAD DEPOT IN MONTEVIDEO.] 
  1.7      $650,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of the department of transportation to restore the 
  1.9   Milwaukee Road Depot in Montevideo. 
  1.10     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE.] 
  1.11     To provide the money appropriated in this act from the 
  1.12  state bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance, on 
  1.13  request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds of the state 
  1.14  in an amount up to $650,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and 
  1.15  with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, section 
  1.16  16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article 
  1.17  XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.18     Sec. 3.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     This act is effective the day following enactment.
