2013-2014 school year and not demonstrating satisfactory proficiency on
assessments or basic skills testing to take the ACT college assessment for
college admission in their senior year of high school to satisfy state high
school graduation requirements; clarifying ACT Explore testing and statewide
testing as computer-adaptive; modifying statewide testing; defining terms;
specifying commissioner of education requirements for computer-adaptive
assessments; modifying school performance report cards; requiring the
commissioner to adopt rules for providing a standard high school diploma to
certain adults; providing a transition; appropriating money to the department of
education for college and career ready assessments, computer-adapted tests,
certain requests for proposals and the career pathways advisory task force;
repealing certain education rules
