                        CHAPTER 528-H.F.No. 2637 
           An act relating to the city of Farmington; permitting 
          the sale of certain tax-forfeited land. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  [FARMINGTON LAND SALE.] 
    Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 282.01, 
subdivision 1, the city of Farmington may convey the following 
property to the landowners who own abutting property:  
 14-57600-083-06 Pine Knoll Subdivision, Part of Lot 8, 
Block 6 lying N.E. of line beginning N.W. Line 113.55 feet, 
S.W. of most N corner thence S.E. in straight line to most 
E. corner and there terminating, in the county of Dakota, 
state of Minnesota. 
    The conveyance may be without consideration or subject to 
consideration as the city deems appropriate.  The conveyance may 
be subject to easements, covenants, and other conditions the 
city deems appropriate.  Conveyance under this section shall 
extinguish the state's rights of reverter under Minnesota 
Statutes, section 282.01, subdivision 1 or other law. 
    Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
    This act is effective the day following final enactment.
