                         CHAPTER 75-H.F.No. 852 
           An act relating to state lands; directing conveyance 
          of an easement over certain state lands to the city of 
          Duluth. 
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
    Section 1.  [EASEMENT.] 
    Notwithstanding any law, ordinance, or charter provision to 
the contrary, the commissioner of administration shall convey to 
the city of Duluth an easement for perpetual public pedestrian 
passageway purposes substantially in conformance with the 
description hereinafter contained, the exact configuration and 
location of which is to be determined by the commissioner: 
 All those parts of Lots 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62, and 64, 
West Second Street, Duluth Proper First Division which fall 
within the Government Services Center Building, First Floor 
Level and within six feet more or less on either side of 
the following described line, including the lengthening or 
shortening of the sidelines at each angle point:  Beginning 
at the southernmost corner of said Lot 64, thence 
northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said Lot 64 
for a distance of 13.5 feet to a point, said point being 
the point of beginning of the line to be described, thence 
deflect 90 degrees to the left and continue along a line 
parallel with and 13.5 feet easterly of the southwesterly 
line of said Lot 64, whose assumed bearing is North 48 
Degrees West for a distance of 71.25 feet to a point, 
thence North 42 Degrees East for a distance of 30.0 feet to 
a point, thence North 48 Degrees West for a distance of 8.0 
feet to a point, thence North 42 Degrees East for a 
distance of 166.0 feet to a point, thence South 48 Degrees 
East for a distance of 61.25 feet to a point, thence North 
42 Degrees East for a distance 163.0 feet to a point and 
there terminating.
