relating to capital investment; appropriating money for improvements at the Rondo
Commemorative Plaza.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; RONDO COMMEMORATIVE PLAZA.

new text begin $300,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated to the commissioner of employment and
economic development for a grant to Rondo Commemorative Plaza to construct, install,
and equip lighting, an irrigation system, and other improvements and betterments of a capital
nature at the Plaza in the city of St. Paul. This is a onetime appropriation and is available
until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
