A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; amending a prior appropriation for improvements
at the Eagle's Healing Nest campuses; amending Laws 2017, First Special Session
chapter 8, article 1, section 20, subdivision 9, as amended.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2017, First Special Session chapter 8, article 1, section 20, subdivision
9, as amended by Laws 2018, chapter 214, article 2, section 39, is amended to read:


Subd. 9.

Eagle's Healing Nest

renovate, furnish, and equip the Lady Liberty
building on the Sauk Centre campus to house
16 female veterans.

and replace the roofs on the Promises Made
building and the Songs building on the Sauk
Centre campus.

new text begin (d) $250,000 of this appropriation is to
renovate, furnish, and equip the Food Services
Building on the Sauk Centre campus. This
appropriation also includes money for major
projects to preserve or replace electrical,
heating, and cooling systems, and other capital
improvements to support ongoing operations.

new text begin (e) $110,000 of this appropriation is to repair
and replace the HVAC system for 32 units at
the Redwood Falls campus.

new text begin (f) Upon written notice to the commissioner
of employment and economic development,
any unexpended amount for a project
described in this section that has been
substantially completed may fund any other
project described in this section.

until December 31, 2028.
