 relating to health; appropriating money for oral hygiene awareness among new
Americans.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

AMERICANS.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of health for a grant to the African Immigrant Community Services organization. This
funding shall address oral hygiene awareness among new Americans. The program's
objectives include educating new Americans on oral health, using digital media and ethnic
TV partnerships to reach a wider audience, collaborating with dental professionals for
workshops and content creation, providing information on accessing dental services, and
distributing oral hygiene kits. The aim is to promote comprehensive oral health awareness
and access to dental services.
