relating to workforce development; appropriating money to Summit Academy

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; SUMMIT ACADEMY OIC.

$350,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Summit Academy
OIC to start and enroll students in a dental assistant program and to work with employers
to place students in the field upon successful completion of the program. This is a onetime
appropriation.
