A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for all-terrain vehicle trails.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE GRANT-IN-AID
PROGRAM.

$1,500,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the all-terrain vehicle account in the
natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources for the grant-in-aid program
under Minnesota Statutes, section 84.927, subdivision 2, clause (4). This amount is a onetime
addition to the base for fiscal year 2025. For fiscal year 2026 and thereafter, $500,000 is
added to the base.

$1,200,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the all-terrain vehicle account in the
natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources for a grant to St. Louis
County to construct and maintain the Prospector Loop all-terrain vehicle trail system. This
appropriation is available until expended.
