relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to Inspire
Change Clinic.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; INSPIRE CHANGE CLINIC.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Inspire Change
Clinic for their health care fellowship program designed to create pathways to medicine for
high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in the health care workforce.
The health care fellowship program is intended to remove barriers for minority students,
foster inclusivity and diversity in the health care sector, and provide valuable opportunities
for students, including mentorship programs, access to renowned health institutions in the
state of Minnesota, and hands-on work experience. This is a onetime appropriation.
