A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for an expansion of St. David's
Center for Child & Family Development in Stearns County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin ST. DAVID'S CENTER FOR CHILD & FAMILY DEVELOPMENT.

new text begin $400,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of administration for a grant to St. David's Center for Child & Family Development for
predesign of a new facility in Stearns County to promote the public welfare by providing
early childhood education, children's mental health and pediatric therapy services, and
support services that stabilize families, build skills, increase independence, and improve
the educational and health outcomes of Minnesotans. This appropriation is onetime and is
available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section
16A.642.
