A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money to St. Louis Park Emergency
Program for costs incurred to expand its facility in the city of St. Louis Park.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; ST. LOUIS PARK EMERGENCY PROGRAM.

$250,000 in fiscal year 2025 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to St. Louis Park Emergency Program,
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for reimbursement of expenses incurred to acquire and
renovate property located adjacent to 6812 West Lake Street in St. Louis Park to expand
food shelf capacity and social service offerings to the surrounding community. This
appropriation is onetime.
