A bill for an act
relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for grants to facilitate
youth involvement in tuj lub and sepak takraw sports.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin GRANTS TO FACILITATE YOUTH INVOLVEMENT IN TUJ LUB
AND SEPAK TAKRAW SPORTS; APPROPRIATION.

$50,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $50,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated from the
arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of administration for a grant to the Sepak
Takraw of USA to work with youth and after-school programs in the community to teach
the cultural games of tuj lub and sepak takraw. This appropriation may not be used to hold
events.
