A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; establishing a speed limit on a segment of Trunk Highway
19 in the city of Lonsdale; amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 169.14, by
adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 169.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin Speed limit on Trunk Highway 19 in the city of Lonsdale. new text end

new text begin Notwithstanding
any provision to the contrary in this section, the speed limit on Trunk Highway 19 in the
city of Lonsdale between 5th Avenue Northwest and the northern city limits is 45 miles per
hour. The commissioner must erect appropriate signs displaying the 45 miles per hour speed
limit.
