A bill for an act
 relating to environment; authorizing St. Louis County to pay for reestablishing
certain drainage system records in St. Louis County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin AUTHORITY TO PAY FOR REESTABLISHING DRAINAGE SYSTEM
RECORDS; ST. LOUIS COUNTY.

new text begin Notwithstanding anything in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 103E, to the contrary, St. Louis
County may pay costs incurred during 2022 and 2023 for or related to reestablishing drainage
system records for County Ditch Number 4 from funds available to the county instead of
collecting those costs from the owners of benefited properties.
