A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; appropriating money for transportation management and
assistance activities.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT.

new text begin (a) $300,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $300,000 in fiscal year 2025 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for grants to the I-494 Corridor
Commission. The commissioner must not retain any portion of this appropriation. Funds
under this section are available for programming and service expansion to assist companies
and commuters with carpool, vanpool, bicycle commuting, telework, and transit. From
funds under this section, the I-494 Corridor Commission must provide telework resources,
assistance, information, and related activities on a statewide basis.
