relating to elections; appropriating money for attorney fees from redistricting cases.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$476,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the secretary of
state to be used to pay attorney fees as ordered by the court in the legislative and
congressional redistricting cases Wattson et al. v. Simon et al., A21-0243 and Sachs et al.
v. Simon, A21-0546. This appropriation is available for expenditure the day following final
enactment.
