A bill for an act
 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a community food site in
Ramsey County.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; COMMUNITY FOOD SITE.

new text begin $2,600,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Keystone Community Services
for sitework and utilities, repairs and improvements to existing exterior enclosure,
construction or renovation of interior spaces and finishes, construction administration and
project management services, new security systems, furniture, and wayfinding; and other
improvements of a capital nature for a new community food site in Ramsey County. This
appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject
to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
