law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 1.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin Castoroides ohioensis, commonly known as the giant
beaver, is designated as the official state fossil of the state of Minnesota.
