BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin MINNESOTA FISHING OPENER; APPROPRIATION.

$100,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to Explore Minnesota
Tourism to host an annual Minnesota fishing opener. Explore Minnesota Tourism must
provide a competitive process for communities to apply to host the Minnesota fishing opener.
