A bill for an act
relating to human services; appropriating money for a grant to a nonprofit
organization that operates a licensed short- and long-term shelter.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $150,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of human services for a grant for capital improvements to add supportive housing to existing
shelter services provided by a nonprofit organization operating an existing licensed short-
and long-term shelter located in St. Paul for sexually exploited girls aged 12 to 18, and that
offers health care, access to mental health services, and access to chemical health care. This
is a onetime appropriation.
