A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for design and construction
of North Branch I-35/400th Street Interchange Improvement Project in the city of
North Branch.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin NORTH BRANCH I-35/400TH STREET INTERCHANGE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF NORTH BRANCH;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $3,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of transportation for a grant to the city of North Branch for predesign and final design,
right-of-way acquisition to construct the North Branch I-35/400th Street Interchange
Improvement Project in the city of North Branch.

new text begin This appropriation is not available until the commissioner of management and budget
determines that sufficient resources have been committed from nonstate sources to complete
the project. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until the project is completed
or abandoned.
