relating to natural resources; facilitating sale of certain parcels of land by city of
Buhl.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin SALE OF CERTAIN PARCELS; CITY OF BUHL.

new text begin Notwithstanding the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources project agreement
between the city of Buhl and the Department of Energy and Economic Development entered
into on April 15, 1987, or any other provision of law, the city of Buhl may plat and sell for
development portions of the area subject to the agreement so long as grant money received
under the agreement was not used to improve the parcels sold. Replacement is not required
for land sold under this section.

new text begin This section is effective retroactively from April 15, 1987, the
day after the governing body of the city of Buhl and its chief clerical officer timely complete
their compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
