relating to economic development; appropriating money for the Justice Built
Communities initiative.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; JUSTICE BUILT COMMUNITIES.

$2,000,000 in fiscal year 2022 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Pillsbury United Communities
for the Justice Built Communities initiative to provide and foster equitable neighborhood
economic development and redevelopment in marginalized communities through strategic
land acquisition and community development projects.
