relating to state government; relaxing occupancy limits at wedding reception venues
during the COVID-19 peacetime emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin COVID-19 PEACETIME EMERGENCY; WEDDING VENUE
CAPACITY.

new text begin Notwithstanding any law or executive order to the contrary, during a peacetime
emergency declared and extended by the governor for the infectious disease known as
COVID-19, occupant capacity limits for venues that host wedding receptions and offer or
allow on-premises food or beverage consumption must be no more restrictive than those
imposed on restaurants under Emergency Executive Order 21-01.
