 relating to economic development; appropriating money for public infrastructure
for a business park in Becker.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin BECKER; PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE FOR A BUSINESS PARK;
APPROPRIATION.

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 116C.779, subdivision 1, paragraph (j),
$20,100,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the renewable development account
established under Minnesota Statutes, section 116C.779, subdivision 1, to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Becker to acquire land,
predesign, design, construct, furnish, and equip public infrastructure, including water,
sanitary sewer, storm sewer and drainage systems, roads, and lighting for a business park
in the city of Becker. This appropriation does not require a nonstate match.
