A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; appropriating money for development of Lake
Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$9,500,000 in fiscal year 2020 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of natural resources for developing Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park
by rehabilitating the shaft of Soudan Underground Mine and designing and developing an
off-highway vehicle campground south of U.S. Highway 169. This appropriation is onetime
and is available until June 30, 2021.
