A bill for an act
 relating to natural resources; modifying collector snowmobile registration
requirements; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 84.82, subdivision 7a.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 84.82, subdivision 7a, is amended to read:


Subd. 7a.

Collector limited snowmobile use.

permit to a person or organization to operate or transport a collector snowmobile without
registrationnew text begin :

new text begin (1)new text end in parades or organized group outings, such as races, rallies, and other promotional

new text begin (2)new text end for up to ten days each year for personal transportationnew text begin that is not on a designated
state or grant-in-aid snowmobile trailnew text end .

new text begin (b)new text end The commissioner may impose a reasonable restriction on a permittee and may
revoke, amend, suspend, or modify a permit for cause.
