relating to state government; appropriating money for tourism-related losses.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; TOURISM-RELATED LOSSES.

new text begin $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 is appropriated from the general fund to the Minnesota
Department of Employment and Economic Development to distribute to a federally
recognized Indian Tribe in Minnesota located within ten miles of the Canadian border. This
appropriation shall be used for tourism-related losses due to the closure of the International
Canadian border as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
