A bill for an act
 relating to human services; establishing a supplemental rate for a group residential
housing provider in Anoka County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2016, section
256I.05, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2016, section 256I.05, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin Supplemental rate; Anoka County. new text end

new text begin Notwithstanding the provisions in this
section, a county agency shall negotiate a supplemental rate for 42 beds in addition to the
rate specified in subdivision 1, not to exceed $700 per month, including any legislatively
authorized inflationary adjustments, for a group residential housing provider that is located
in Anoka County and provides emergency housing on the former Anoka Regional Treatment
Center campus. Notwithstanding any other law or rule to the contrary, Anoka County is not
responsible for any additional costs associated with the supplemental rate provided for in
this subdivision.
