A bill for an act
relating to liquor; authorizing the city of St. Paul to issue a liquor license for
Indiafest held on the Capitol grounds.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin CITY OF ST. PAUL; LICENSE AUTHORIZED.

new text begin Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.412, subdivision 4, paragraph (a),
clause (2), the city of St. Paul may issue a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license to
the India Association of Minnesota, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, for Indiafest on
the grounds of the State Capitol. The license may authorize only the sale of intoxicating
malt liquor and wine. All provisions of Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.404, subdivision
10, not inconsistent with this section, apply to the license authorized by this section.
