A bill for an act
relating to the state budget; restricting the use of any fiscal year 2013 general
fund surplus.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Any positive unrestricted budgetary general fund balance for fiscal year 2013 must
be allocated as provided in Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.152, and is not available for
any other purpose including any new expenditure or revenue reduction enacted between
January 8, 2013, and February 28, 2013.
