A bill for an act
 relating to education; appropriating money for equity in telecommunications
access; amending Laws 2013, chapter 116, article 6, section 12, subdivision 5.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2013, chapter 116, article 6, section 12, subdivision 5, is amended to
read:


Subd. 5.

Equity in telecommunications access.

For equity in telecommunications

If the appropriation amount is insufficient, the commissioner shall reduce the
reimbursement rate in Minnesota Statutes, section 125B.26, subdivisions 4 and 5, and the
revenue for fiscal years 2014 and 2015 shall be prorated.

Any balance in the first year does not cancel but is available in the second year.
