A bill for an act
 relating to game and fish; making the free deer license for disabled veterans
permanent; amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 97A.441, subdivision 6.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 97A.441, subdivision 6, is amended to read:


Subd. 6.

Taking deer; disabled veterans.

A person authorized to issue licenses
must issue, without a fee, a new text begin permanent new text end license to take deer with firearms or by archery
to a resident that is a veteran, as defined in section 197.447, and that has a 100 percent
service connected disability as defined by the United States Veterans Administration
upon being furnished satisfactory evidence.
