A bill for an act
relating to historical preservation and cultural heritage; appropriating money
for the State Capitol building.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; STATE CAPITOL BUILDING.

new text begin $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2012 and $2,000,000 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated
from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the commissioner of administration to address
the parlous condition of the State Capitol by providing for the maintenance and historic
restoration of this culturally and historically significant structure that belongs to all
Minnesotans.
