A bill for an act
 relating to the military; providing for acceptance of certain services by adjutant
general; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 190.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin To assist in the discharge of the functions of the department, the adjutant general
may accept uncompensated and voluntary services and enter into written agreements
with private or public agencies or persons for uncompensated and voluntary services
as may be practical pursuant to sections 16C.08 and 16C.09. Persons rendering
voluntary uncompensated services may be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred in the
performance of official duties at the same rate per mile as state employees.
