1.2relating to telecommunications; requiring rulemaking on local telephone

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. RULE CHANGE.
1.6The Public Utilities Commission shall amend Minnesota Rules, parts 7810.2900;
1.77811.0600, subpart 1; and 7812.0600, subpart 1, so that no local service provider is
1.8required to provide a white pages directory for each local calling area to each customer
1.9served by that directory, unless a customer requests delivery of a directory. The
1.10amendment must be adopted under Minnesota Statutes, section 14.389.
1.11EFFECTIVE DATE.This section applies to all directories delivered after January
1.121, 2011.
