A bill for an act
 relating to agriculture; restoring the open appropriation for ethanol producer
payments; appropriating money; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section
41A.09, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 41A.09, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin A sum sufficient to make the payments and grants
required by this section is annually appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of agriculture and all money so appropriated is available until expended.
