A bill for an act
 relating to aeronautics; accelerating reimbursement of state airports fund;
amending Laws 2003, First Special Session chapter 18, article 1, section 2.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2003, First Special Session chapter 18, article 1, section 2, is amended
to read:


Sec. 2.TRANSPORTATION

 110,000,000

This appropriation is from the trunk highway
bond proceeds account in the trunk highway
fund and is available for expenditure
beginning the day following final enactment.
It is for the same purposes as specified in
Laws 2000, chapter 479, article 1, section 2,
subdivision 3.

Of the general fund appropriation in Laws
2000, chapter 479, article 1, section 2,
subdivision 3, $110,000,000 cancels to the
general fund. This cancellation is effective
the day following final enactment.

By June 30, 2003, the commissioner of
finance shall transfer $15,000,000 of the cash
balance in the state airports fund established
in Minnesota Statutes, section 360.017, to
the general fund.
