A bill for an act
relating to the environment; appropriating money for a grant to the city of Avon
to conduct an air quality study relating to xylene.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin AIR QUALITY GRANT; CITY OF AVON.

$6,000 in fiscal year 2006 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of the Pollution Control Agency for a grant to the city of Avon for an air quality study
to determine the sources of emissions and ambient levels of xylene in the city. This
appropriation is available until June 30, 2007.
